Effectively Using the APIC Playbooks
Thursday, August 3, 2023 @ 1 pm ET
Heather Ridge, Crystal Heishman, and Tawanna McInnis-Cole
This session will provide an overview of a new APIC Resource, the "Playbooks", which were developed as a field guide for infection preventionists in all care settings; equipping individuals with the information needed to ensure an effective response to prepare for, manage, and contain pathogens of concern.
Presenters from the Emerging Infectious Disease committee will highlight where Playbooks can be found and will provide an in-depth review of a Playbook, demonstrating the standard format, information and resources contained in each pathogen-specific playbook.
